Xmas Atrocities, Part II

I've finished with my xmas cards for the season. I'm doing only a very, very limited set this year: just the immediate family. Call it budget cutbacks, call it a lack of time, call it whatever... I just don't have the resources to do the 100+ cards as in prior seasons.

In other nightmares, kent4str and cuyahogarvr got the xmas tree and decorations out of storage. It's now assembled and we hope to have it decorated gradually over the next few days as time permits.

This really does give a whole new meaning to being green. I appreciate the lack of cards, I do the same ... but your concern for the emotional well-being of the tree is truly moving.

The difficult part is that once the holiday is over, we have to un-festivate him and place him back on the floor. We do leave the lights on him because he becomes cranky without them.
