Xmas Atrocities, Part II
Dec. 14th, 2008 10:42 pmI've finished with my xmas cards for the season. I'm doing only a very, very limited set this year: just the immediate family. Call it budget cutbacks, call it a lack of time, call it whatever... I just don't have the resources to do the 100+ cards as in prior seasons.
In other nightmares,
kent4str and
cuyahogarvr got the xmas tree and decorations out of storage. It's now assembled and we hope to have it decorated gradually over the next few days as time permits.

Date: 2008-12-15 11:05 am (UTC)As far as the tree goes, we love the smell of a fresh tree, but the nightmares of our first Christmases with a real tree haunt us. These days, we don't even put up a big artificial tree. We put the little tree that is up all year up on a table, decorate it and use that. It makes the tree feel special.
