DC Snow Report, Day 2, Part 2

The electricity just came back on at 3pm today. We're crossing our fingers it stays on but in the interim, we're running the furnace and charging the small appliances. There's still no sign of a snow plow so we're still trapped in our neighbourhood, but now that we're warm, we're fine with that.

While we have power, I'm uploading some photos taken earlier today:

The snow plow came through around 9pm last night and I've already dug out the drift it pushed into the driveway so in theory, we can travel where we will.

of course, I'm not quite so confident that parking lots and street spaces are dug out yet. I'm also not sure how many businesses are open today. Unless there's a pressing reason to venture out, we'll just stay comfortably at home.
