We waited until the series came on DVD after watching a few episodes on someone's DVR. We'd start to watch episodes back to back, then had to take a break - a few hours, even a day - to settle ourselves before we could start again. The gritty emotions the show created was very intense.
However last night we pimped out our friend's cable by offering free food, and saw it on schedule, followed by an entire evening of "What did we miss that could lead us to the point they just reached?"
