Have you booked your hotel room yet? The Marriott will be releasing unbooked rooms from our block on March 19. After that time, we ask that room cancellations be directed to DC Diamond Circulate so we can hold them for later re-assignment to late registrants.

In other news, there have been a few room reservations cancellations lately but our booking rate is still 92.5% of the room block, well above our contractually obligated 80% fill rate.

[livejournal.com profile] kent4str was calling for the Chesapeake Squares tonight; [livejournal.com profile] cuyahogarvr went with him, partly to give me a little home time to myself and partly to give himself some time out of the house.

While catching up on the latest stack of convention emails, I was contacted by the caller for tomorrow night's C1 dance in Arlington, VA, asking if I was available to substitute for him. No problem!

After tomorrow's dance, I have to head to the data center for some late night cabling work on the production firewalls... whee.

This coming Thursday through Saturday is the annual dance festival of the Washington Area Square Dance Cooperative Association. [livejournal.com profile] kent4str will be attending, promoting our IAGSDC convention; I believe [livejournal.com profile] cuyahogarvr will be joining him as well. I haven't decided what I'm doing... work commitments may require me elsewhere but we'll see how it goes.
