Have you booked your hotel room yet? The Marriott will be releasing unbooked rooms from our block on March 19. After that time, we ask that room cancellations be directed to DC Diamond Circulate so we can hold them for later re-assignment to late registrants.

In other news, there have been a few room reservations cancellations lately but our booking rate is still 92.5% of the room block, well above our contractually obligated 80% fill rate.

How do I direct the cancellation to DCDC?

I have a duplicate reservation at the convention rate (Wednesday thru Sunday nights) that I'm about to let go, as well as one for Sunday through Tuesday before.

Unlike other chains Marriott won't let me change the name on the reservation, so I guess the hotel or you guys would need to do that.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner... I'm juggling a lot of issues at the moment.

I haven't been able to get an updated spreadsheet of reservations from the hotel since March 16 so I haven't been able to check with the hotel to see if you've already released the rooms.

Look at the spreadsheet from March 16 however, their records don't match your description though so I'm confused...

The hotel's official reservation record has two entries under your name:
April 5-8 (Sunday-Wednesday before convention)
April 8-13 (Wednesday-Monday of convention)
You were planning to release both or just the second one?
