Mainstream Class, Session #4

We had our fourth & final teaching session with the Chesapeake Squares this afternoon. The remaining list of calls was relatively brief but a bit ugly: "spin chain thru" is a tricky call for folks who are still mastering "partner trade" and "cast off 3/4". Still, they did well for such a compressed session.

While they've technically covered the entire Mainstream list, they need a lot of practice and workshopping still. These sessions are scheduled (caller Dayle Hodge) and we're planning a graduation for them on February 19.

This morning, we had a teleconference with writer Will for the upcoming article on ACDC and the DC Lambda Squares. This evening, photographer Todd came to our house to shoot the final set of photos. As promised, I got a picture of Todd to share:

Puppy Bowl

Whoever thought of broadcasting the Puppy Bowl (with kitten half-time) on the Animal Planet channel is absolutely brilliant. I could have watched all day. Too bad the music sounds like a bad pr0n soundtrack.

I understand there was some sort of football game on opposite, but I didn't particularly notice.
