Happy birthday,
Apr. 29th, 2006 10:52 amCleveland, Day 2
Apr. 29th, 2006 10:53 amNick's (seriously hot) hubby Bob arrived from his family event by 11 PM or so but he was utterly exhausted. Brian K. was beat too so headed to bed early. After some minor winding down and gossiping, Nick, Dr. Mark,
kent4str and I called it a night around 1 AM.
I fell asleep very quickly and, in a repeat of the afternoon's nap, fell into a series of bizarre but intense dreams. I can't remember a single one anymore, but I remember they were vivid & stressful enough to wake me up at 45 minute intervals all night. This may sound unpleasant, but I consider it a treat to reach a level of restfulness which actually allows me to dream at all; ultimately, I did crawl out of bed around 9 AM feeling more refreshed than I have in weeks.
Nick had fresh towels laid out for our morning shower, bless his heart. Mine was a little too fresh: I was almost entirely dried off when I noticed it was shedding lint all over me. I looked like I've been sweating crimson textiles.
There isn't much on today's schedule... we're going to visit with a friend just after lunch and I have a massage appointment tentatively scheduled with Brian K. for 3-4 PM, depending on when he completes his other errands for the day. We're planning dinner at Zappatta's for 7:30 PM and then back to Casa Vannello at convenience.
