Hot, Hot, Hot!

The Weather Channel just reported the DC area can expect near record high temperatures today & tomorrow with a heat index of about 110 degrees F.

Have I mentioned in the last 30 seconds or so how grateful I am for air conditioning? Well, I am.

The power grid is really gonna feel this one...

You guys are getting the temps the west coast had last week. We've had 136 heat-related deaths this year!

Was it as humid there as it has been here? I could handle either the humidity or the heat, but the combination is brutal. Someone please rouse me from cryogenic suspension when the climate becomes reasonable again.

Some areas were humid but in the central valley, it was just hot. The news reported that the death toll was actually closer to 164 than 13x.....
