Minivan Update

The minivan was stolen.
The minivan was found.
The minivan will come again, but alas not that particular one.

Kent just called to say that the insurance company has decided the 1998 Dodge Caravan is a write-off. He's trekking up to the garage right now to clean out the remaining personal items inside and pick up a brochure with the intent of purchasing a new one asap, probably a Grand Caravan.

It's kinda good news. I'd rather that we were shopping for a replacement at our convenience rather than being forced by car thieves. And the old beast only had 75,000 miles on it so it seems like such a waste.

I would suggest looking at the new Kia Sedona's for '07. Don't gasp. They are beautiful for '07, and a far, far better bargain than the Dodge. I hate saying that, I was devoted to the Caravan's till now.

I can raise a paw for the Ford Windstar..it ain't much but it does pretty good.
