Mike & Buck need your help

bjarvisWashington DC residents Mike & Buck were married in Canada in 2004. Buck is a lifelong Mormon. The LDS Church, embarrassed by the situation, has been pressuring Buck to resign his membership so that the issue of gay Mormons will quietly go away. The issue won't, and Buck won't. The Church is now initiating disciplinary hearings with the intent of excommunication. A full chronology and explanation is available here.
Safe Space is working to provide a safe space LGBT Mormons and have take up Buck's cause. Please consider sending a pink carnation ($1 each) via their web site in support of Mike & Buck.
I've known Mike & Buck for years. Buck has been a good friend, a great father and will soon be a grandfather for the first time. He and his family deserve better.
