A few thoughts came to me while I was composing this list. I originally thought about including cruel or mean, but I am occasionally cruel and mean if circumstances warrant. I try not to be gratuitously so but there are instances where measured expressions of either may be needed. Sometimes a little evil is required for a greater good --at least much as we can know such a good-- so I keep these tools in my arsenal for hopefully rare occasions.

I would like to think I'm not particularly dishonest, but I am periodically. If someone asks me how I am when I'm feeling miserable, I will lie if I don't wish to burden another or divulge my particular circumstance. I'll also lie to protect another if the situation warrants. And I'm definitely guilty of lying by omission from time to time: complete 100% truthfulness can be an impediment sometimes. I'll stop by simply saying that while I may not always be 100% fully honest, I'd like to believe I've been honourable in the intent of my periodic dishonesty.

hmm i recall a situation in the woods with you that might not qualify as 'dihonourable' but it would cerftainly cause you a dishonourable... ahem... discharge.
