Back on Jan 27, I asked where folks where I should consider printing my digital photos now that I'm the proud owner of a digital camera, an xmas gift from my wookie sweet hubby.

A couple of days ago, Clark Color Labs sent me an e-mail --I'm on their list-- promoting a printing special: $0.02 USD per 4x6 print, matte or glossy, down from $0.11. Procrastination is occasionally a good thing, especially if we retroactively refer to it time spent in research.

By now, I have 213 photos to print so this dropped my processing price tag by $9. Including shipping and a CD-ROM with index print and sales tax, the total is $26.65. The lot should arrive in no more than 10 business days so we'll see then how good/bad they look.

BTW, the promotion code is C2CENTSL, expiring March 5.

I still crop & manipulate my photos, but printing at home typically costs $0.35-$0.50, depending on the cost of the ink & paper. I'm much too cheap for that, esp. since I typically take ~100 photos/month. At the moment, it's more economical for me to do the manipulation at home, then send the photos elsewhere for printing. Presuming, of course, that I like the results when they come back...
