Dayle just called to ask if we could cover next Tuesday's club night in Baltimore as he's going to be covering the prior night for Ett. Sure, no problem. Because of Dayle's previously scheduled travel, this means that Kent & I will be covering all of the remaining club nights in February, including the Valentine's dance next week and the two open house events following.

BTW, if any one is interested in checking out us, our dancers or what we do, all are welcome to drop by the Waxter Center in Baltimore Tuesday, Feb. 21 & 28, 8-10 PM. No partner, no commitment or previous dance experience required... just come & watch if you wish. Refreshments are being served.

DC also has the ACDC lgbt advanced & challenge fly-in, Feb. 17-19. We have an organizational meeting tonight to ensure everything is lined up --I have my task list completed-- and I'll likely be volunteering for various duties throughout the event. Kent & I have volunteered for a couple of GCA calling slots but will gladly give them up to out-of-town guests if there is demand. This year, instead of running home at night to sleep and dashing back in the morning, we're going to check into the event hotel (Washington Marriott); hopefully, we'll be better rested. Or in more trouble than ever. :-)
