An Emmy Clean Sweep!

I just looked through the list of Emmy winners from last night and confirmed my suspicion: Glee, Mad Men, Modern Family, Nurse Jackie and all the others... I haven't seen any of them!

I really don't think I'm missing much though.

Actually, I think "Glee" and "Modern Family" are two of the best series to come along in a decade. I'm a big fan of entertainment that is clever, funny, musical (in the case of "Glee") and includes gay characters that ring true. I haven't seen "Mad Men" or "Nurse Jackie" yet.

I loved mad men for a while but mostly for the historical part of it. It really seemed to capture what I believe the early 60s were like, as opposed to the perfect Donna Reed version of it all. However, I got pretty bored with the actual storylines after a while.
