Is this holiday season over yet?

A bunch of us had dinner chez Jerry in downtown DC last night. When we returned to my car, we discovered the rear passenger side window had been smashed in. Nothing was stolen and there appears to be no other damage to the car, thank god.

I am now officially over the entire holiday season. We may now proceed with 2006. Thank you.

Not in the cards for a few more days. Mercifully, I have a couple of three day weekends but I'm running a solo shop at our data center for this week so I can't even beg a few hours off for car repairs. Ah, well. I think my next relaxing opportunity is early February.
