...for all the wrong reasons.

Snugglebunny was snoring. Really snoring. Wake-the-dead kind of snoring. On nights like this, I usually slip out of the bedroom quietly with my alarm clock & pillow tucked under my arm and camp out in the guestroom. I spent the larger part of the evening making up the room for a pending guest so there was no way I was going to mess up my own creation; instead, I grabbed an extra blanket from the sewing room closet and curled up on the couch in the living room.

I could still here him from there...

snore coff coff hic snore *pause* snore choke wheeze sniff coff
wheeze wheeze wheeze snore hic choke *pause* snore snore snore

It's like trying to sleep to a Danny Elfman score.

Memo to self: I need a more comfortable couch.

The coughs and chokes and pauses make me wonder if there's some sleep apnea going on there.

Probably. Kent has talked to his GP about this and the GP says (very wisely): "Lose 30 lbs asap."

Kent would like to lose 30 lbs but he does not want to change his eating habits or exercise so I'm becoming rather adept about slinking into the guest room at weird hours of the night without really waking up.
