LG Dare?

Any opinions of the LG Dare cell phone from Verizon Wireless?

At the moment, I'm trying to decide between the LG Dare and the Blackberry Storm. I'll have to drop by the local Verizon Wireless store to test drive both models before committing.

Clearly you haven't read the Pogue article on the Storm.

Meh. The worst phone EVAR was my LG VX4400. Wow, was that crap. Made me swear off LG products forever. *shudder*

I tried the Storm (*love* my BlackBerry Pearl) and, while it was very 1.0, the one I played with had the old software. Need to find an updated one to try out. If that doesn't fix the biggest annoyances, then I expect the next HW release will.

My advice to bjarvis is to head to a big Verizon store and try them out yourself. Definitely do test phone calls, also.
