I've Been A Very Bad Boy

On something of a whim, we went out for dinner tonight, scooping up Jeff M. in Arlington, VA, along the way.

We landed at an Indian restaurant we occasionally frequent. Per usual, the food was delicious and the portions were huge. I should have resisted, but I had both the rice and the naan. So many carbs but so tasty!

The killer though was going to Cold Stone Creamery afterwards for dessert. I can't resist the dark chocolate mint ice cream, especially when used as a base for their "chocolate devotion:" ice cream, chocolate chips, a chocolate brownie and chocolate syrup mixed into a heavenly concoction containing approximately 2 billion calories. I should have had the small size.

I've spent the balance of the evening groaning on the couch, loosening my belt, painfully aware I ate too much but utterly unable to decide which item should have been left off my menu. They were all sooooo good.

I think my pancreas is going on strike.

Sooooo good...

They're both wimps, or else I actually showed better self-control. It was yummy, but I managed to walk away (not waddle) fealing pleasantly full rather than overstuffed.

Or maybe I've had more practice...
