I've known dozens of IT folks, from the help desk on up, who complain about how stupid doctors are when they can't use computers, or how uneducated the VP/CEO/whatever must be because he/she can't install software.
But none of those IT folks have ever once thought they themselves were "slow" because they didn't know medicine, hadn't been published, or could develop a budget/strategic plan/public offering. It's as though the only contributor to IQ is techie knowledge. :-)
(Guilty here, too, by the way, so don't think I'm excluding myself.)
