New Bathroom!

Some time ago, we had our master bathroom gutted down to the wall studs and rebuilt from scratch. As of yesterday, the work is complete. See cuyahogarvr's blog for photos here. The work took a long time to complete but since we still had use of the smaller bathroom in the basement, it was only a minor inconvenience.

I also hereby declare there will be no further renovation projects until our checking & savings accounts recover.

I concur that having the big bathroom out of commission didn't affect me while I was visiting.

We've put some remodeling on hold as well until we see how the economy is doing.

Count yourself lucky that it was only the bathroom you took down to the studs. Our entire house is down to the studs so we have little choice but to finish the remodel -- economy be damned! I'm kind of glad actually. If I hadn't started I would delay the project. I might as well live in luxury prior to moving to the poor house. :-)
