I'm trying to get an image of telling my poor 83 year old West Virginia mother, "Call back when you've got a clue!"
I have a somewhat unusual relationship with my parents... we've never hesitated to tell each other "you're nuts!" when it seemed appropriate.
Kent can always tell when I'm on the telephone with my mother. My part of the conversation goes something like this: "Mom, what were you thinking? ... What on earth possessed you to do that? ... You did WHAT? Why???" And so on.
