Cleveland, Day 6
Jul. 4th, 2008 11:52 pmSweet baby Jesus, what a day.
Up early to set up our DC Diamond Circulate table per usual. Bleh. The opening ceremonies, "grand march" and memorial/welcoming tips took the bulk of the morning.
Dancing theoretically started at 1 PM but I missed nearly all. I did, however, have a chance to run through nearly my entire wardrobe...
1. started the day in casual wear;
2. changed to uniform for the Chesapeake Squares club photo;
3. changed back to casual wear;
4. changed into formal wear for the Gay Callers Association club photo;
5. changed back to casual wear;
6. changed into the Ettseteras shirt for a special C1 club tip with Mike Jacobs;
7. changed into casual wear;
8. changed into DC Lambda Squares formal wear for the club photo;
9. changed into leather for the leather tip;
10. changed into the Ettseteras shirt for the club photo;
11. changed into casual wear;
12. took off everything to prepare for bed.
On the good side, I'm delighted that all of the club photos are done in a single day. It may have complicated my schedule immensely, but it's all done and the convention doesn't have to house the photo crew an extra night.
As I write this, we're sitting in Mark & Brian's room down the hall from our own room, downing cocktails like there's no tomorrow. Well, they're drinking cocktails while I'm sipping ginger ale. I don't drink but I may have to before the next convention comes up.
There's much more to tell but I need to get to sleep.

Date: 2008-07-05 02:41 pm (UTC)wouldn't it be easier if you made your outfits 1, 3, 5, 7, and 11 all the same as 12? (minus the mattress and sheets of course). I'm sure several dancers would approve.
further wardrobe suggestions
Date: 2008-07-05 02:42 pm (UTC)alternatively, you can NOT go wrong in basic black and pearls. Wear that for every occasion (and, for 9, make it black leather).
