kent4str and cuyahogarvr went to Baltimore to call & dance with the Chesapeake Squares last night, leaving the house in my happy hands. What did I do with my new-found power & freedom? Worked on my Linux server!

In a nutshell, I upgraded Sendmail, SpamAssassin and ClamAV on the SuSE Linux box, then persuaded all of them to play nicely with each other. With the addition of a little end-point sorting and a series of test e-mails to confirm all is well, I've diverted a huge amount of spam out of my active mailboxes into text files elsewhere. Yay!

Funny how 3-4 hours of intense concentration and mental slogging can be compressed down to a single paragraph. *sigh*
