At our club nights, we sometimes play two-steping and line dancing music during the breaks. I've had a request for a song called "Sugartown" but neither I nor the requestor have a clue who recorded it. Anyone have pointers?

iTunes shows Nancy Sinatra having the most downloads for Sugar Town. Under country genre, it shows Tihance have a song Sugartown.

Yesterday in rained in Tennessee
I heard it also rained in Tall-a-hass-ee
But not a drop fell on little old me
'Cause I'm in shu-shu-shu, shu-shu-shu, shu-shu-shu-shu Sugartown.

When singing this song, we would just continue the shu-shu-shu's forever, in a stuttering frenzy.

Do you really not remember this? Oh yeah, that's right.

I'm wondering if whoever was asking was thinking of the popular c/w group called "Sugarland" with top songs like 'Stay' and 'Everyday America'?

A while back, we had a guy who asked for a George Strait song to celebrate his and his partner's 3rd anniversary. We couldn't find it for the longest time...turns out it was part of a line from the song he remembered, not the actual title.

Otherwise, it's the song Gary mentioned from a LONG time ago...and it's certainly not danceable c/w.
