bjarvisCyclist Mark Beamont has completed his around-the-world bike ride, setting a new world record. When he left home, he was clean-shaven; when he crossed the finish line, he looked much better:
Alas, the universe apparently requires balance. Nova Scotia Liberal Leader, the Honourable Member of the Legislative Assembly for Annapolis Valley, Stephen McNeil, shaved off his trademark beard. This is the "before" photo... the "after" photos has been withheld to prevent mass rioting:
