We went down to the Washington Plaza Hotel this afternoon to schmooze a while at MAL. We usually do this in the evenings but we're just not really into it this year. Still, we wanted to check out the vendors to see about getting a hat for each kent4str and cuyahogarvr, as well as possibly gloves for kent4str and boots for me.

In my first posting attempt, only the first three photos had any caption at all: the captions for all of the other photos were blank even though the captions were faithfully recorded in my LJ photo album. Go figure.

It's really amazing how many guys (myself included) have put fashion over warmth this weekend.

I would always say that I hoped it was warm for the Gay Pride Parade/Folsom St. Fair/Castro St. Fair/etc because otherwise all those guys wearing next-to-nothing will be very cold. There was never a thought that they might put on more clothes regardless of the temperature!

I'm pretty sure that if you opt for fashion, you can always find people to keep you warm!

The worst part is walking around outside of course. Even going from the car to the hotel is problematic, especially since parking was such a problem.

I'd need to be the cheese in a tandem and couple to keep warm, and walking plussome wouldn't work so well, and I'd probably still be cold. But thanks for your vote of confidence. :)
