He's Outta Here!

Our own little jetsetter, cuyahogarvr, is off to Egypt for 10 days on a trip he scheduled last year. He will be missed but I hope he has a good time and takes lots of pictures.

In the interim, we won't have him to clean our house, do our laundry, cook us dinner or take kent4str out for walkies. We knew this would happen eventually when he starts working again later in January but there's no denying it: he's been spoiling us rotten the past few months.

And, housekeeping aside, we miss him already. :-(

and (most importantly, as bradferd23 pointed out, where is the spare toilet paper? I mean, you live in the DC area, and we all know the panic buying in DeeSee when a winter storm threatens.

The chicken stock in the hoosier cabinet in the kitchen. The toilet paper (and tissues, paper towels and napkins) are in the basement storage closet. The freezer is fully stocked. Order-in menus are on the fridge, beside cuyahogarvr's travel itinerary and emergency contact information.

kent4str will have to take walkies himself. Hopefully, he won't run out into the street chasing squirrels too often.

I figured I could just reply to his own posts, so didn't originally reply to this. Today I noticed I was defriended, but then realized that he deleted his entire journal. What's the story on that? :(
