Local friends and coodinators of the Bears Night Out mailing list, Jim & Joseph, held their annual solstice drop-in last Saturday. It's always great fun, a wonderful time to catch up with guys we see only rarely and --naturally-- eat far too much. By happy coincidence, it was also a great time to introduce [livejournal.com profile] cuyahogarvr to a few extra local guys and prove to him that we do indeed know a handful of people who aren't square dancers --yet.

I loves me some Jim and Joseph!

I can imagine the six of us around a table laughing and laughing over a fabulous meal one day!

You're falling down on the job! Did you do an intro night while you were there?

I will give you $10 to burn Michael's sweater. But I want photo-proof.

Alas, J&J were so busy in the kitchen and hosting that I couldn't get them into any photo. I had better luck at last night's dinner. (http://pics.livejournal.com/bjarvis/pic/000gg585/g47)

Takoma Park is very nice suburb on the NNE side of Washington, DC, straddling the border between Maryland and DC. They have a lovely bungalow a few minutes away from the Takoma metro stop on the red subway line.

Brought a tear

I miss y'all...and guilty that I never made it to Jim & Joseph's house in Tacky Park ( I used to live there for 6 years so I know some locals call it that!)
