This meme was somewhat lacking so I edited the responses a little and added my own highlights of the grandeur that was 1967.

The Toronto Maple Leafs last won the Stanley Cup. The United States Supreme Court declares all U.S. state laws prohibiting interracial marriage to be unconstitutional. American Nazi Party leader George Lincoln Rockwell is assassinated in Arlington, Virginia. Gibralter has a referendum on union with Spain. Less than 1% vote in favour. BBC Radio-1, -2, -3 and -4 are launched. In the US, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is established. Che Guevera is captured & executed in Bolivia. Anderson Cooper, (OMG hottie) Tim McGraw, Nicole Kidman, Pamela Anderson, Will Ferrell, Matt Leblanc, Harry Connick Jr and Keith Urban were all born. Jack Ruby, Robert Oppenheimer, Alice B Toklas, Dorothy Parker, Spencer Tracey, Jayne Mansfield, Vivien Leigh, John Coltrane and Woody Guthrie all passed away. There was no Nobel peace prize awarded. I maintain I had nothing to do with that; my parents are strangely silent on the issue.

Two of these are gone.

One ex partner of mine and one ex f/b were born in 1967. I generally avoid romantic dalliances with anyone born in that year now. ;-)
