The alarm sounded at 6 AM but I just couldn't face it: my head was aching and I hadn't slept worth a damn all night.

After shutting down the beeping device, I dozed lightly for another two hours, rousing just enough energy to finally call in sick to the office, drag my sorry ass to the computers to send e-mail to the team and wash down a couple of aspirin to take the edge of the cranial pain.

Must be a bug. I woke up yesterday with a nasty headache and aching muscles, but it is much improved today. I hope yours is just a one-day thing too! Get well soon.
