I was just reviewing our square dance calling schedule for this month, and I just realized that in the third week of December, we have:
Monday: Mainstream class review
Tuesday: Plus/A2 club night in Baltimore
Thursday: Mainstream/Plus club night in DC
Friday: Calling A2 with the Zig Zaggers

It's a lot but not too bad. The snag? This is the last week before xmas: these will all be holiday parties.

you say that as if you don't like OD-ing on shortbread cookies shaped like Xmas trees, and the like. Just go for the chocolate and sugar and you'll be so buzzed you don't care.

I'm more than happy to vacuum up the refreshments... it's the soul-stretching strain of being full of --ahem-- holiday cheer for four nights out of five which may bring on a stroke.

get yerself a santa hat and a red (or green) sweater and smile blandly. If necessary, indicate by smiles and gestures that your mouth is stuffit full of goodies, and it would be rude to speak.
