My replacement green card arrived in the mail today!

I'm amazed how quickly my application for replacement was processed. I applied online for the replacement on August 28; my interview & re-fingerprinting was September 22. At that time, I was told the card might be arrive by early December so you can imagine my surprise at it taking only one month instead of three.

I can leave the US once again! And I can change jobs if I want to! Yay!

BTW, the new card design is hideous. The older style was much nicer. :-)

And, more importantly, you can get back into the US AND - change jobs if the need should arise. Wow, though, you must lead a charmed life for that to process that fast.

Just a Canadian one --theoretically, at least, until the new one is in my hands.

I initially misread "hideous" with "delicious". I'm glad I went back and re-read. :)
