I was up earlier than usual this morning so I could run a number of errands. In particular, I wanted to get my hair cut and get the large comforter into one of the mega-washers at our local laundromat.

The former is accomplished, the latter will have to wait: every mega-washer was in use and there was a line of people waiting to use them. My time is worth more than that so I'll try late tonight or very early tomorrow morning.

The trip to the laundromat wasn't an entire waste though. I popped into the pawn shop next door to peruse the inventory but didn't buy anything. Pawn shops fascinate me: the items on display are the intersection of two sets of values: what some people are willing to discard from their lives for a price and what the brokers believe actually has sufficient value that they can resell the item for a profit.

After touring the shop, I paused at the 7-11 to treat myself a bottle of grape juice and obtain several Coffee Crisp bars for [livejournal.com profile] cuyahogarvr. I sometimes wonder if he might be moving in with us just to protect his Coffee Crisp supply lines. Nah...

LOL!
What's the word I'm thinking??????
Besides, I'm pretty sure Coffee Crisps didn't come into the picture until well after I knew how I felt about the two of you.

dear heart, Cleveland is a LOT closer to Fort Erie, where Coffee CrispTM can be purchased in abundance, than it is to DeeSee. I think he's moving to scenic Silver Spring for reasons more to do with the two people who already live at your house.
