We've been using Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance for our house and car policies for several years. While I can't complain about their service --they've been very responsive on our minor claims-- I thought I'd shop around to see if I can find cheaper policies.

Anyone have recommendations (or anti-recommendations) about which insurance company to use?

The convention planning continues to chug along.

Much work continues to be done on the hotel front: we are negotiating the menus and fees, deciding the locations of the caller stages in each hall, identifying which vendors will need electricity, etc, and how much of those fees we can get waived or must pass along to the vendors, etc..

We have a newsletter 95% ready for distribution. I hope to have my hands on the final PDF Monday afternoon. It will be emailed out to the registrants and the LGCWSD list and placed on the DCDC website when ready. I've spent the past hour reviewing all of the registration forms to create a master list of everyone who needs a snail-mailed version (51 people in total). I also intend to print off copies for distribution in the IAGSDC bi-monthly mailout, due in Portland, OR, at the end of this month.

Because I know you're dying to know these things, here are the registration stats as of today... )
