Morning Commute
Feb. 13th, 2008 08:22 amWith the freezing rain last night, I would have preferred to telecommute today but I left my laptop at the office. Since there was a major project waiting for me, I decided to at least attempt going to work.
In all, the commute wasn't as bad as I suspected. The front steps of our house are still treacherous and I needed several minutes to hack the ice off my car but the streets and roads were in good shape. Well, they were in good shape once you get past the morons doing 35 mph in 65 mph zones because they're deathly afraid of this thing called "rain."
I won't have a clue how many people will come to the office today. At the best of times, things don't pick up on the geek side of the company until after 10 AM.
