cuyahogarvr is in the shower, kent4str is unpacking fresh clothing and I'm --of course-- surfing the web. We'll be on the road in 30 minutes for the last stretch of our drive.On the road, Part II

Nov. 22nd, 2007 03:23 pmWe've parked the car and checked into the Renaissance Hotel. cuyahogarvr's daughter (a staffer with the hotel) booked us into the George II suite... it's huge! Hell, the bathroom/vanity area is larger than my first apartment! Photos will follow but we're off to the Wild Dunes for Thanksgiving dinner.

Our turkey day dinner was a huge buffet at Wild Dunes, a resort here in Charleston.
We're currently vegetating around the hotel room, recuperating from overindulging at dinner. Tomorrow, the plan is to be touristy on the town.
