cuyahogarvr is in the shower, kent4str is unpacking fresh clothing and I'm --of course-- surfing the web. We'll be on the road in 30 minutes for the last stretch of our drive.Entry tags:

We've parked the car and checked into the Renaissance Hotel. cuyahogarvr's daughter (a staffer with the hotel) booked us into the George II suite... it's huge! Hell, the bathroom/vanity area is larger than my first apartment! Photos will follow but we're off to the Wild Dunes for Thanksgiving dinner.

We spent the largest portion of the afternoon visiting with cuyahogarvr's clan, particularly his youngest daughter and a nephew. Our turkey day dinner was a huge buffet at Wild Dunes, a resort here in Charleston.
We're currently vegetating around the hotel room, recuperating from overindulging at dinner. Tomorrow, the plan is to be touristy on the town.
