Plus Graduation

Tonight was not only our regular Mainstream/Plus square dance night, it was also the formal graduation for our latest Plus class.

kent4str and I alternated tips and did a joint number at the mid-way point, just after distributing the diplomas and acknowledging the recent graduates. Overall, while it may not have been my most precisely choreographed calling, this was one of my best nights ever as an entertainer so I'm very pleased with tonight's work.

I'm particularly delighted with the progress the Plus class has made since the series ended two weeks ago. We put them through the paces of the list with hardly a hiccup on calls which frequently cause trauma in a novice Plus floor. I was going to take notes so I could offer workshop topics to otterpop58 for this Sunday's session, but I can't put my finger on anything in particular that needs focussed work. otterpop58 will test the floor and find something fun to work on, I'm sure.
