The Weekend Begins
Jul. 28th, 2007 11:05 amWork went late yesterday but I finally managed to drag myself down to 30 Degrees by 6:30 PM or so to meet up with
cuyhogarvr and
kent4str. Others of our happy hour crowd dragged themselves in over the following hour or so. Cocktails and major snogging with certain guys ensued. A good time was had by most, but the loud music was getting to
kent4str so the group I rallied for dinner had to go grazing without us.
Stopping briefly to pick up pre-ordered chinese food on the way home --thank god for mobile telephone techology-- we flaked out at home until close to 11 PM. More snogging of a more serious kind ensued. :-)
I slept solidly and soundly until 10 AM. The details of my earlier dreams are now lost to me but I recall initially feeling angry and frustrated; early morning dreams were less anxious; late morning dreams had more of a light-hearted Sponge Bob animation quality to them. Rest is indeed good for the soul, and can apparently be measured on an hourly basis.
