Whew!

My tour of duty as UNIX primary has ended, thank god. Done with the distractions of the pager and its incessant demands, I was able to work on deploying a dozen new servers, take an online in-house course on access management, attend a NetMeeting presentation of our corporate standards on Solaris 10 container deployments and have my mid-year performance assessment with my manager (very positive).

And now I'm off to happy hour at 30 Degrees down in Washington, DC. Ahhhh...
