Despite having a large number of projects to juggle, I find myself surprisingly tranquil today. I think its largely due to nearly all of these projects being on hold, waiting for other teams or individuals to finish their tasks so mine may proceed.

I've finished scanning another stack of documents for DC Lambda Squares. This latest batch completes the easiest half of the work; I'll gradually work my way through the remaining half over the next month or so when time allows.

Tomorrow, [livejournal.com profile] kent4str and I head to the trailer in West Virginia to de-winterize the beast. The forecast is calling for cold and possible snow but the natural gas tanks were fully charged when we were there last so unless there was some disaster through the winter, we'll have hot water and a cozy trailer. The beds have electric blankets too so we'll be very comfortable.

GCA Madame President Nick Martellacci recommended "Win the Crowd" by Steve Cohen in his latest GCA newsletter column. Despite checking four different bookstores, I've yet to find it. I could order it online but I was hoping to read it at the trailer this weekend. I have one more bookstore to check before I give up and resort to purchasing via the Internet.

If nothing else comes up, I'll likely spend much of the weekend writing more A2 and C1 choreography. It's been a while since I've put much effort into it so I should catch up and build up my inventory of cards, memorizing some get-outs and sequences of calls for future sight-calling possibilities.

It's been planned for a long time but now that the family engagements are starting to straighten themselves out, I can start planning more fun activities.

[livejournal.com profile] kent4str and I will be crossing the international border from Buffalo, NY, to Fort Erie, ON, next Thursday, April 12. We'll be staying with my ex in the Pape & Danforth area of Toronto. All of our family activities are lined up for Sunday, April 15 (my grandmother's 80th birthday) in the Kitchener-Waterloo thru Woodstock area, and we're returning to the US on Monday, April 16.

I'm looking forward to seeing [livejournal.com profile] vaneramos once again, and I'm fairly optimistic we'll get to meet [livejournal.com profile] bearfinch. Is anyone else possibly available and interested in getting together?
