Travel Plans
Apr. 27th, 2006 09:20 amTomorrow morning,
kent4str and I are off to exciting Cleveland, OH, for a weekend of carousing with friends. Originally, we were going to see a performance of Varla Jean Merman but her show was punted to next weekend after we had already purchased our air fare. Since we're already booked for square dancing in Rehoboth next weekend, we decided to head to Cleveland as per our original plans. It doesn't hurt that the local gay leather organization has a major event this weekend either... we're bringing the cowhide just in case we feel like joining the festivities.
I've just completed hotel reservations for our trip to Seattle & Vancouver next month. We'll be buzzing into Seattle for May 17-19, being touristy around town and catching up with some old high school friends as well as visiting with Seattle husbands
tdjohnsn and
rlegters. On May 19, the four of us are heading to Vancouver...
kent4str and I will be attending portions of the Unison 2006 festival and generally taking in the sights with
tdjohnsn and
rlegters. Kent has never been to Vancouver and I haven't visited since Gay Games III in 1990 so there will be lots to see.
Alas, it will be a short trip --we have to return on May 22-- but with a little luck, we hope to meet some local LJers while we're there.
