We slept in. God, what a great feeling.

With David joining us this time, we returned to our preferred stalking hunting feeding grounds: the food court of the mall in Lancaster. Not great cuisine, but it's cheap and thanks to the variety, we can find something for gluten-intolerant Kent. As with the previous day, there was lots of hot looking men wandering through, although by popular vote the best was Ryan from the T-Mobile kiosk: 30ish, 6', broad shoulders, black hair, trimmed beard, and furry chest. *sigh* I almost smashed my Verizon phone into little bits just so I could go chat him up with the possibility of buying a new one. :-)

After drooling like idiots for an hour, we headed back to Jerry & David's house where I began labeling the photos from yesterday's party and generally catching up on e-mail. Towards 4:30 PM, after lounging around the house, we piled into Jerry's car to head to the Pyramid, getting only lost in a minor way once when Jerry realized too late that the address had changed since he was last there.

There were a lot of Roseland folks in attendance for happy hour. I took still more photos and carried around a get-well card for George, a Roseland resident who had hernia surgery on Thursday and could not thus not attend. Alas, Ben of the Ben-Curtis-Todd trio was down with food poisoning so while he was at happy hour briefly, he retreated to his hotel room relatively soon to rest.

Photos will be posted on my web site on Monday or Tuesday of this week.

Dinner at the Vine was fun. The restaurant is smaller and much more intimate than the place we attended for last year's reunion in Pittsburgh, and the layout was vastly better for socializing. We unintentionally created a bear table: all ten of us had facial hair of some variety and, looking around, there were only two other furry Roseland residents who were at other tables, largely I think because ours was full. Go figure.

Jerry then took us across town to Woofs, the local bear bar. Lots of hot men and, surprisingly, lots we already knew. Phil & Scott showed up, as well as Joe & Paul, Fridley & Gary, Butch & Kevin, Michael W. from Indianapolis and several others; we also got to meet Len, Jerry & David's favourite lust object bartender.

We chatted as best we could --loud music-- for a couple of hours before transferring to Tradewinds until 2 AM. Most of the mob we saw at Woofs had the same idea: they either beat us there or joined us soon after we arrived. Rik & Rob were going to meet us there originally, but I suspect they left before we arrived. Fortunately, we'll have dinner with them Sunday before returning to DC.

Columbus is such a friendly town, but I could really use some sleep.
