Columbus, Day #1
Feb. 4th, 2006 11:36 amWe slept in late on Friday, catching up on the accumulated sleep deficit of a busy week. David had to work but Jerry took a vacation day and took us out shopping for various items (groceries, window-shopping for a new washer & dryer, etc.). Towards the late afternoon, we collected David, headed out for dinner at a steak place in Lancaster (Woody's), then headed to Pickerington for Phil & Scott's party.
The party theme was chocolate & champagne. How can you go wrong with that? It was like I had died and gone to Paris. I'm still feeling a sugar buzz.
Phil & Scott (and dog Bear) were utterly charming as always. And they have a such a *hot* circle of friends! My camera has at least 40 photos ready to be transferred onto a PC and later to my web page... more news on that later.
We slinked home some time after midnight and, well, thanks to chocolate & sugar, didn't exactly crash. Ah, well... I can catch up on sleep at home.
