We had snow around DC last night. Not a lot, only an inch or two with some sleet mixed in. Hardly anything to write about but it has finally put me into something of a holiday spirit. Well, only a little, but that's probably the most anyone can expect from me, holiday curmudgeon that I am.

Fortunately for my blood pressure, I didn't have to drive to work today as I had previously booked today as a vacation day. Unfortunately, I had a number of must-do errands which has eaten heavily into my lazy time.

I'm going to go have a bowl of soup and see what's passes for daytime TV these days while my back recovers.
