To Roseland!
Oct. 21st, 2005 09:26 amWe're about to load our luggage and tools into the minivan and head to the trailer in West Virginia for the last weekend of camping for this calendar year. I wish the camping season ran longer, into November at least, but with the fall comes a much heavier social calendar so even if the option existed, I doubt we'd be able to take advantage.
Our winterizing checklist isn't so different from our end-of-weekend-closing checklist: we need to run antifreeze through the water lines, remove the batteries, close off the propane tanks, clean out the fridge & freezer and wrap tarps over the patio table & barbecue. In all, it's only an extra hour of work but we'll see how it goes.
