Finally upgraded to Mac OS X "Tiger"
Jul. 25th, 2005 10:49 amOne of my last acts before I finished my MSc back in May was to go on a buying binge, getting the academic package or student rate of any application or hardware I thought I would want in the coming year. One of these acquisitions was Mac OS X (10.4), AKA "Tiger".

When my youngest sister Angela (aka "Six of Six") married four years ago, I was a little disappointed that she took her husband's last name. That's three for three among my sisters who have married (the 4th is probably a lesbian but she hasn't figured it out yet... we're still hopeful the light will go on eventually).
( Would you give up your family name? )

If you're in the Baltimore area Tuesday night, come by our open house at 1000 Cathedral Street, 8-10 PM. More info at our web site. Kent & I are hosting but don't let that scare you overmuch. :-)

Jul. 25th, 2005 10:19 pmFor those who care, I've finally finished off the last film in my camera which happened to include a dozen or so remaining photos from the recent IAGSDC convention in Santa Clara. There's a lovely shot of
