New Toy!

Receiving a delightful foot rub from Jeff M yesterday afternoon reminded me of something I was planning to do for some time but had deferred in favour of paying bills and credit card balances. Now that all outstanding short term debts are fully paid and I've been given a small performance bonus for my next pay check, it was time to purchase myself a new toy on eBay:





I was originally thinking of getting this for kent4str, but that would make it sort of a weasel gift, kinda like getting one's great-grandmother a motorcycle for xmas. It's a gift to the pair of us then, so it's available when desired and we don't have to wait for xmas. Delivery should be within a week.

That's exactly what I thought last night when I saw the eBay listing... I've never worked with a table with that attachment. I'm sure pros like oologindc would be able to inform us appropriately.

That one's very similar to ours. I hope the vinyl isn't really that shade of blue, though; ours is cordovan. One nice adjunct use: if you adjust the leg heights all the way down, it makes a decent cot for guests. You can buy fitted sheets for it (including the headrest) as well.

I studied at the Sutherland-Chan clinic in Toronto many, many moons ago, but I was turning into the carpal tunnel syndrome poster child so I couldn't continue. My wrists are still prone to strain so more than occasional massage work would be impossible, but I'm exciting & looking forward to the table's arrival.

(I quite like that blue colour -- but then, cobalt goes very well with my bonny blue eyes, me being a winter and all -- but you do want to use sheets anyway. much more comfortable to have something to absorb perspiration.)
