Ever have one of those days when you sit in your cube at work and pray for death but death never comes?

Yesterday was like that.

Imagine having your soul slowly ripped away from your body one strip at a time by a dull, rusty fillet knife.

It wasn't pleasant.

Today is much better. It's a little too soon to say if it's a good day, but at least it doesn't suck as badly as yesterday. I'll settle for neutral currently.

well...

kinda sounds like one of those days I've gone into work post-root canal...drooling and stuff and then the novacaine wears off...thank heavens for vicodin :-)

Must be the dwarf planet configurations....

As a matter of fact, YES, yesterday was one of those days for me too. Death would have been a welcome relief, but that's probably why it didn't happen - it would have been too good for that day.

Today has been calmer, but not much. It's a good thing I don't have access to heavy medication and/or alcohol or I'd be at CPI by now.

Don't have to imagine. Been there, done that, #1 reason why I am no longer employed.
